if you read the link below, you know that we are in the middle of an enormous heat wave here. and there is nothing that cracks me up more then witnessing the change from all the moaning about the rain and cold to all the moaning about the heat. don't get me wrong; there are a lot of reasons to moan about the heat here. the number one reason being the lack of any airconditioning on the tubes and buses. apparently the temps were 117Fon the tubes yesterday afternoon.
and i can't help but think the suing culture in the US (that everyone "takes the piss out of" here) does have its advantages. in the US, how long would it take for someone to get heat stroke, pass out and bang their head and then take those bastards to court until some judge orders them to put airconditioning in to prevent it from happening again.
and on a separate note, peoples of london though i love you, you pong to no end these days. wonder if a judge could order people to add some deoderant to their morning routines?
