after talking to 3 doctors, having 2 IV bags of anti-nasea meds, 1 cat scan, one very lovely lumbar puncture, and being poked and prodded in every which way, it turns out i had a migraine. who knew? i never thought i got migraines and it never would have occurred to me that's what i had. i guess there's a reason why doctor's have to go to school for 10 years, huh? thank god for migraine medication. i am bringing it with me everywhere now. it was all pretty scary, especially since they were testing for things like meningitis and aneurysms (yikes!).
they think it was stress induced.....what stress? i only work full time, go to graduate school, have no supervisor at work, have a mother in a nursing home, and work for a company where the CEO says the f-bomb every second and shoots dead animals which hang in the conference room (not kidding). here are some photos i took once i was finally feeling better and the meds had kicked in. thank god sandra was there with me (the hubby is still away in England). i never would have made it through the lumbar puncture without being able to squeeze the shit out of her poor hands. and she kept me laughing. thank god for good friends, huh?
